Featured on Animal Planet, Quaker Farm has a long history of organically raising chemical free and hormone free, pastured meats, produce, free range eggs and raw honey, all produced with ethical and holistic farming practices.

Quaker Farm is especially known for raising popular farm and therapy Collie dogs as well as their children's stories about life on a farm which feature the animals of Quaker Farm.

Support the farmers of your community - buy locally grown food!

For over 2 decades, Quaker Hill Farm has specialized in raising heritage breed livestock and heirloom variety produce. Part of their commitment to stewardship is assisting with the conservation of rare breeds and providing educational information about sustainable living through lectures, classes and online videos, and online articles about a wide rang of homesteading topics.

Located in Harrisville, Michigan, Quaker Farm has been producing high quality seasonal farm products since 1985 and has been an integral part of Alcona County's vigorous low impact sustainable agricultural community. Though the scope of farming efforts has narrowed, Quaker Farm continues to be a resource of homesteading and small farming information offering classes and education through various workshops and online educational videos and How-To articles.

We encourage consumers to buy local, eat healthy and support Michigan producers!

    Earth Day at Quaker Farm

Earth Day at Quaker Farm, a Quaker inspirational video, was created to share the importance of sustainable living choices as they relate to climate change. Our earth is precious and we need to take better care of it. We hope our Earth Day video inspires you to cherish the planet we share. Please pass it on, we hope it can be of use to others, especially perhaps elementary school teachers and home schooling families. Viewers especially like the horse birth and the muscovy duck hatching from an egg!

Barn at Quaker Hill Farm, Alcona County Quilt Trail Project

The Quaker Farm barn is a host site for a Alcona County Quilt Trail Project. We have a 8'x8' quilt block with the "North Star" design to commemorate the life-saving work of the Underground Railroad which the State of Michigan and Quakers played major roles in.

We have a small historical and educational Underground Railroad quilt display. Our thanks to the Hollyhock Quilt Shoppe in Harrisville, Michigan for founding and support of the Alcona County Quilt Trail Project and their contribution to the Underground Railroad quilt display at Quaker Farm.
